    • AN OLD, RESIDENT GONE

The funeral of the late Mrs F. Evans took place in Hespeler, on Saturday afternoon and was largely attended. Mrs. Evans was one of the oldest settlers in the county of Waterloo, She was a sister of Dr. McWilliams of Drayton, Dr. McWilliams of Dundalk and was the oldest of a family of five. This is the third death which has occurred in the family during the past nine months; her brother, John, a much respected farmer of Waterloo township, who died January last, was well and favorably known in Puslinch township and younger brother, William, who died in April. Mrs. Evans was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.
