Notes |
- Rev. Henry Wismer, "was born August 21st, 1833. He was married to Hettie Bleam. They resided in Waterloo County, Ontario, for some time, then he disposed of his estate and moved to Kent County, Michigan, where he was engaged in farming for some time. Not finding things as he had expected, he sold his farm and moved to Texas where the climate was not so severe as in the more northern states. Here he resided until his death which took place March 15th, 1885. Some years before he left Canada he was ordained to the ministry of the Mennonite Church."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.].
