  At the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 at the age of 76, Marion (nee Martin). Beloved wife for 54 years of Gordon Longmire of Port Elgin. Mother of Doug of Southampton, Dennis and his wife Louise of Tavistock, Don and his wife Deborah of Tiverton, Cathy and her husband George May of Sudbury, and Brian and his wife Darlene of Port Elgin. Grandma of fourteen grandchildren. She is also survived by seven brothers: Lloyd (Betty) of Guelph, Leo (Elsie) of Hanover, Menno (Laurel) of Chepstow, Ernie (Carol) of Elora, Allen (Pauline) of Elmira, Ray of Coquitlam, B.C., and Phares (Marlene) of Elora. She is predeceased by her parents Henry and Magdalena Martin. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 11th, 2010. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday at 11: 00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Widdowson. Interment Southampton Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
