PRESTON April 30-A resident of Blair for the past 64 years, Leah Wismer, 78, relict of the late John R. Naismith died suddenly at 1 am today at her home. She was well known throughout the district. A native of North Easthope, the deceased lived there until her 14th year. She was a Presbyterian by faith. Her husband died in 1941 and one son passed away in 1917.
Surviving is one son. John W. Naismith, Blair: two brothers, David Wismer, Kitchener, and Henry, Branchton. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where service will be held at 2:30 pm. Monday. Interment will be in Blair Cemetery.
