  Mrs. Arthur H. Roth Mrs. Arthur H. Roth of New Hamburg, died on Monday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 76. The former Alfretta Shantz, she was born Sept. 24, 1892, in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman S. Shantz and had been a life-long resident of New Hamburg. She was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg. Surviving besides her husband, are one son, Marshall W. of Kitchener; five sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Selina) Cressman of Preston; Olive Shantz of Louville, N.Y.; Mrs. Clinton (Edna) Habel of Kitchener; Mrs. Clarence (Lyla) Roth of Waterloo, and Mrs. Noah (Violet) Herner of Petersburg; three brothers, Lincoln Shantz of Alberta; Russell and Lloyd Shantz, both of Waterloo; and three grandchildren. The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home until Wednesday noon when removal will be made to Zion United Church for service at 3 p.m. Rev. J.B. Moore will officiate.
