One of Kitchener's few nonagenarians, Mrs. Mary Schantz, 43 Schneider Avenue, passed away at 11 o'clock last night at her late residence where she had resided since 1890, the result of a slight stroke suffered a week ago. Mrs. Schantz in her 95th year was born in Haldimand County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram H. Moyer. In 1863 she was married at Port Elgin to the late Tobias Schantz, who predeceased her ten years ago. She was a public school teacher before her marriage.
