Johannes Schuett died 24 Nov 1863 in Preston, 86 yrs, 3 days, was veteran of Napolean I's army, carried his love of orderliness and punctuality to his last days. His clothes were fit to be in a parade; until a few weeks before his death, he prided himself on his good health, was uncommonly active for his age. For past 13 yrs, lived in Preston with his son-in-law, Michael Haller; buried Thurs. at the Catholic Graveyard in New Germany.
