- A-2-22 Christopher Kramer Letters of Administration of the estate of Christopher Kramer, late of the Village of Bridgeport, deceased, who died on or about the 23rd of February 1858 at the Village of Bridgeport, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at the Village of Bridgeport, made and duly executed his Last Will and Testament and did therein name George Kraft, of the Township of Waterloo, Yeoman, Executor thereof. A true copy of which said Last Will and Testament is hereunder written. And be it further known that on the 18th of April 1859, Letters of Administration with the said will annexed …were granted to Elizabeth Gredter of the village of Bridgeport, a daughter, and one of the next of kin of the said deceased and the residual Legatee named in said will, the said George Kraft named Executor therein having duly renounced all right and title to probate and execution of said Will…
This Indenture witnesseth that I Christopher Kramer, of the Village of Bridgeport, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding do make public and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.
1st : My will first is that my personal charges and just debts shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter named.
2nd : My beloved daughter Mary shall have my bed and clothing immediately after my deceased as also one dollar in money.
3rd : I give and devise to my beloved daughter Elizabeth all my real and person estate to have and to hold to her and her heirs Executors and administrators for ever.
4th : Should my daughter Elizabeth die single or unmarried all her estate real and person shall fall and descend to the children of my daughter Mary, their heirs Executors and Administrators and assigns to there use and behalf for ever.
5th : Should my daughter Elizabeth Mary[sic] [Marry?] two hundred dollars shall be paid by my Executor to my daughter Mary in the manner following, that is to say one hundred dollars in twelve months and one hundred dollars in twenty four months from the date of her marriage.
6th : I do nominate and appoint my beloved friend George Kraft of the Township of Waterloo, to be sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament….
