    • Shirley (nee Hawkins) It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Shirley at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, ON, on Tuesday, June, 3, 2008, in her 90th year. Beloved mother of Jeanette (Ben) Collings of Fergus and Peggy (Bob) Edington of Victoria, B.C. Loving Noni of grandchildren Mary, Scott, and Michael of Victoria , B.C. Also loving Noni of Christopher and Heidi Collings of Vineland, ON and Great Noni to their children, Theo, Evan and Jenna. Survived by her sisters Anne Massey of Hawaii and Nancy (Jack) Skipper of Guelph. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Bill, her parents Adah and Howard Hawkins, and her sister Carolyn Heinbuch.Shirley was a resident of Kitchener for over 80 years. She retired after many years of working at the University of Waterloo Health Services. She was a member of Trinity United Church for over 60 years. Shirleys family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Sunday June 8, 2008 from 3-3:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Private family interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Childrens Wish Foundation or Muscular Dystrophy would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).Visit www.henrywalser.com for Shirleys memorial.
