  Death of Mr. Wm. Wiederhold. The death occurred very suddenly last Saturday morning, July 6th, of Mr. William Wiiederhold at the age of 68 years. Though complaining of not feeling well he retired on Friday night and was found dead in bed in the morning, death being due to heart trouble. The deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wiederhold and was born in North Easthope on June 5th, 1867. He came with his parents to town when a boy and had since resided here. In his early days he followed the carpenter trade and later turned to farming, purchasing a small farm on Perth street at the northwestern limits of the village. He was married to Sarah Eidt, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Eidt,, of North Easthope. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his death one son, Clayton, of Tavistock, and two daughters, Mrs. Nelson Lockhardt, Wilmot, and Mrs. Gordon Wolfe, of Kitchener. He is ailso survived by one brother, Albert, of New York City, and three sisters, Mrs. Ibbitson, Mrs. Keyo and Mrs. Drever, all of Hamilton. One brother, Jacob H. Wiederhold, died in Kitchener only last Thursday and was buried on the day of his brother's death here. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with service at the house, conducted by Rev. J. B. Dengds, pastor of the local Evangelical Church. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended. Interment was made in Christner's Cemetery, Snyder's New Hamburg Independent 7 Jul 1935
