Notes |
- Mr. Adolphe Rogge, an employee in the works of the Hamburg Manufacturing Co., while working at one of the planers, had the misfortune to get his right hand into the machine. The fingers were so badly lacerated that two had to be amputated, while the other three with good nursing will probably be saved. Mr. Rogge wanted to push some shavings away from the machine with his feet and thoughtlessly placed his right hand on the machine, which got beneath the cylinder with the above result.
