  Death of Mr. Otto E. Pressprich. The news of the death of Mr. Otto E. Pressprich, which took place at Port Huron, Mich., on Christmas Day, was received with deep regret by his many friends in New Hamburg. He had been ill for ten days with meningitis. The late Mr. Pressprich was in his 55th year and was born in New Hamburg, a son of the late Otto Pressprich. He was connected with the Independent Office for many years as foreman and from 1895 to 1898 was a partner in the business, after which he removed to Port Huron, where he had since resided. He was married about 22 years ago to Miss Kate Foerster, who with three sons and four daughters is left to mourn his demise. He is also survived by his mother and two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Beger, of Port Huron, and Miss Alma Pressprich, of Detroit. The funeral took place at Port Huron on Sunday last. The sympathy of their many friends here is extended to the bereaved family. PRESSPRICK PASSES AWAY IN PORT HURON A large circle of friends in the Twin City and throughout Waterloo County will regret to learn of the Reath of Mr. Otto Pressprick who passed away at Port Huron, Mich., on Thursday afternoon, following a ten days illness of Meningitis. The late Mr.Pressprick, who was 55 years old, was for a number of years publisher of the New Hamburg Independent and the Canadische Dolksblath, prior to going to Port Huron. He is survived by his widow and seven children, three sons and four laughters; also by his mother, Mrs. Otto Pressprick, Sr., Detroit, and two sister, Mrs. R. Beger, Port Huron, and Miss Alma Pressprick, Detroit. Another sister, Mrs. Wm. Kischel passed away in Galt several months ago. The funeral took place at Port Huron on Sunday afternoon.
