    • Miss Mary Brown

      The death occurred at her home, 12 Wheeler Ave., Toronto, on Friday, August 22nd, of Mary (May) Brown, eldest daughter of Ann Adelaide Allchin and the late Henry R. D. Brown, formerly of New Hamburg. The late Mrs. Brown was born in New Hamburg and spent her girlhood days here, but for some years, resided in Toronto. The deceased was a devout member of St. George's Anglican Church and was highly esteemed. Many New Hamburg friends were grieved to hear of her demise. Her father, one brother, Russell, and one sister, Kathleen, predeceased her. She leaves in deep bereavement her mother, Mrs. Brown and the latter's sister, Miss Allchin, of Toronto.

      Funeral service was held at St. John's Anglican Church, Norway, Toronto, on Monday at 4 p.m. followed by interment in St. John's Cemetery.
