Notes |
- Death of Mrs. H. F. Boehmer.
Death removed from our midst at two o'clock Saturday morning Elizabeth Kalbfleisch, beloved wife of Henry F. Boehmer, after a lingering illness of about six months. Deceased had reached the age of 37 years, 10 months and 13 days. She was the second daughter of Mr. Joachim Kalbfleisch, proprietor of the Canadischer Bauern-freund, and was married to Henry F. Boehmer, shoemaker, about nineteen years ago. They have been residents of Waterloo with the exception of two years, ever since their marriage. A sorrowing husband, two children, a boy and a girl, aged 18 and 16 years respectively, are left to mourn her death. The funeral took place from the residence, Queen St., on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock to St. John's Lutheran church for service, thence to Mount Hope cemetery for interment. The family have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.
