- Death of Mrs. C M Taylor
By telegram to-day from Battle Creek Mich., came the sad news of the death of Mrs Taylor wife of Mr C M Taylor secretary of the Waterloo Mutual Fire Ins Co at the Sanitarium in that place where she had been for the past few weeks in the hope of benefitting her health. For many years past Mrs Taylor has been an invalid though nearly always able to be about. She has been a resident of Waterloo for years and everyone will miss her familiar face. Until within the last few years she took an active interest in life and was always a particular friend of the young people. Mr Taylor left Waterloo on Saturday night and was with her in her last moments. She was in her 55th year and besides her husband Mr C M Taylor she leaves one daughter and five sons : Her daughter Annie is the wife of Mr Byron Bechtel and resides in Waterloo The sons are: Roland B Taylor in Grenfell N. W. T.; Addison J Taylor and Prof W H Taylor in Butte City Montana; Dr John E Taylor in Rockland Penn, ; and Chas M Taylor in Chicago Ill.
Her remains are expected in Waterloo to-day and the funeral will take place from her late residence tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at two o'clock to Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr Taylor and family have the deepest sympathy of a large circle of friends.
