- Mrs. Conrad Zick
One of the most highly esteemed citizens in the Twin City, Mrs, Anna Marie Zick, beloved wife of Mr. Conrad Zick, slept peacefully away at 4.45 o'oclock on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. O. Ritz, Heins Ave., Kitchener. In her 85th year, she had enjoyed her usual good health until a week ago when she took ill.
A simple and impressive funeral service is being held this (Friday) afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mr. E. O. Ritz, with Rev. C. S. Roberts, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, officiating. Interment at Mount Hope cemetery. Beautiful floral tributes were sent by friends.
The late Mrs. Zick, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fitzenmier, was born in Freedom, Mich., April 10, 1854. After her marriage to Mr. Conrad Zick, January 29th. 1874, she moved to Waterloo and resided at 44 Willow Street until 1920 when she moved to Kitchener and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. E. O.
