  REIST, Thelma Rosina (nee Cross) - Passed away peacefully, at her home, on Friday, December 26, 2008 with her family by her side, at the age of 68 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 51 years, Leonard; her daughter, Wendy Reist of Kitchener and her son, Brad Reist of Fergus. Sister of Corrine and Carl Brubacher, Isabel and Bert Foreman and Susan Cross, all of K-W, Joe, George and Joyce and Doug, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by her foster parents, George and Annie Groundwater; her parents, Charles and Vera Cross; her brothers, Bill and Norm and her three sisters-in-law. The Reist family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8: 45 p.m. The Funeral Mass for Thelma will be held at St. Aloysius RC Church (corner of Connaught and Traynor Ave. Kitchener) on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 10 a.m. Father Wojciech Kuzma officiating. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the Grand River Cancer Centre staff, Dr. C. Campbell and Dr. Stephen Keleher.
