• Notes

  Both Margaret and her husband, John Latimer, had TB. They had four children, two of which were adopted out to a George Buchanan in Montreal. The other two children, Walter and Daniel are on the 1881 Census with their parents. Eventually, they were united with the other two children, and three of them moved to the state of Washington, independently of each other. The fourth child eventually moved to South Africa.
