- Retired Banker, H. Bingham Dies
Henry P. Bingham, a former manager of the Bank of Montreal here, died today at St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Bingham, 84, of 25 Court- land Ave. West, joined the Merchants Bank in Kitchener 49 years ago and became manager of the Kitchener branch of the Bank of Montreal in 1903.
Born in Ayr, on May 10, 1864, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bingham. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church.
His wife, the former Marie Kranz, predeceased him in 1934 Surviving are three sons, Hugo and Frederick, both of Kitchener and Carl of Prescott. A sister. Mrs. Carl Krantz, of Kitchener and five grandchildren also survive.
The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where fun- eral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. L. V Pocock of Hespeler will officiate in the absence of Rev. J. N. H Mills.
