      HANOVER - Following a brief illness, Bernard Urstadt, 81, of Hanover died yesterday at his residence. Born Aug. 15, 1871 in Waterloo, he was superintendent of the upholstering department of Knechtel's Furniture Co., Hanover, for 50 years. He was a member of the Salem Evangelical United Brethern Church, Hanover, and was a board member for many years. His marriage to Margaret Bruegeman, who survives, took place in Hanover, Sept. 1902. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lindsay (Esther) Hunt of Geraldton, Ont., Mrs. Samuel (Kathleen) Beardsley of Hanover and Mrs. Ward (Marie) Koch of Harrow; one brother, Andrew of Waterloo; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Steiner, Mrs. Kate Steinmetz and Mrs. Nelson (Tina) Hoffman all of Waterloo and four grandchildren. One daughter, Ruth, predeceased her [sic]. Public funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Salem Evangelical UB Church with interment in the Hanover Cemetery. Rev. C.H. Cornwell will officiate. The body is at the residence
