McBain Mrs, Sarah Jane McBain, nee Bechtel, was born in Blair, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 4, 1852, and passed away in Mountain View, Calif., Dec. 25, 1934. Forty-three years ago Mrs. McBain joined the Seventh-day Adventist church in Oakland, Calif,, since which time she was a devoted Christian and worker in the church. During a number of years she was a member of a Portland, Ore., church, and for the past thirteen years has been in Mountain View. She is survived by her husband, William McBain, three sons, William, Bert T., and Wallace McBain; and two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Ferren and Mrs. May Hors-man. Funeral services were conducted by Elder I. M. Burke and the writer.
