  The Record - Feb. 19, 2007 KAUNTZ, John - Passed away suddenly, at home as of the result of a heart attack, on Sunday, February 18, 2007, age 81 years, of Kitchener. John was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Kitchener and was a past Board Member of the Transylvania Club. He had also been retired from B.F. Goodrich after 31 years of service. Loving husband of Susanna (nee Botscher). Dear father of Hans (Susan) of Kitchener, Katharina (Robert) Reale of Brantford and Robert (Patricia) of New Hamburg. He will be missed by grandchildren, Natalie, Kathlene, John, Kristen, Nicole, Christopher, Michael, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Daniel. Survived by a brother George (Edith) Kauntz of Waterloo and a cousin, Robert (Dinni) Schatz of Germany. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Katharina (Anton), Schoenauer of New York and Rosina Stolz of Waterloo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Johann (John) and Katharina Kauntz. John's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery.
