    • LIGHTOWLERS, Horace - Passed away on December 19, 2007 in Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 95th year after a short illness. He was born in Bradford, England and moved to Canada when he was 13. He was a devoted and beloved husband of Marjorie Viola (nee Jessop), who predeceased him on June 28, 2007. They had been married for 72 years. His children were Sylvia (Dobrovodsky) of Brantford, Barbara (Trevail) of Cambridge, Beverley (Ellis) of Cambridge, Carol (Gray) of Cambridge and William of Victoria, B.C. He is also survived by his younger brother, Roy (Kitchener-Waterloo); 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Horace worked at Dobbie Industries for 42 years before retiring at 65 years. He and Marjorie enjoyed 25 years of golf and travel after his retirement. There will be a memorial service at St. Andrews Terrace, Cambridge in the Chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2008. Refreshments and visiting will follow.
