  Death of Mrs. Anderson Elizabeth Gotby was born in Township of Wellesley in June 1849 and moved from there to Belmore, Huron Co. in 1873 and was married to Richard Anderson one year later, and settled on the Anderson farm on the Belmore Gravel Road, where they resided until ten years ago when they moved to Wingham and resided until her death on the 11th of October, 1913. Mrs. Anderson had been of a delicate constitution the greater part of her life, and bore her sufferings with Christian patience. She was of a quiet disposition, a very estimable person, and a member of the Methodist church. Of the four children born, three survive the mother, Mrs. J.M. Belden of Winnipeg, Mrs. J.H. Lowry of Haliburton and Harry of Duluth. Leonard B. having died six years ago. The youngest daughter, Mrs. Lowry, was present at the funeral, also two sisters and one brother, Mrs. J. Tilt of Doon, Mrs. Jas. McCreight of Berlin and Milton Gotby of Stratford. An old and true friend of the deceased, Mrs. Rush of Toronto came up Saturday to be present at the burial. Other friends present were Mrs. F. Clegg, Gorrie, and John Tilt, Doon, J.H. Lowry of Haliburton, and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Lowry of Belmore. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J.W. Hibbert. Wingham Advance October 16, 1913.
