  Haehnel, Mary Ann (nee Lauber) Mary Ann passed away suddenly at Grand River Hospital on Thursday, at the age of 93, from complications of a stroke. Predeceased by loving husband Roy (2004) of 61 years and by two sons Gerald (2015) and Raymond in infancy. Survived by daughter Marlene (late Blair) MacKenzie, daughter-in-law Monika Haehnel (Gerald), four grandchildren Tanya (Tim) Bolitsky, Jody MacKenzie, Matthew Haehnel and Laurie (Torstin) Ortmeyer, and three great-granchildren Shelby, Megan and Abby. Mary Ann was the last surviving member of 11 children born to Michael and Caroline Lauber. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Legion of Mary. Mary Ann's family received relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. A Memorial Service was held in The Gathering Place at Trinity Village, 2727 Kingsway Drive, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. Reception followed.
