  Elizabeth Bechtel "the sixth daughter of the same family, was born August 8th, 1792. She was nine years of age when she came to Canada with her parents. On March 10th, 1818, she was married to David, son of David Histand. He was born November 5th, 1789, and died January 6th, 1833. They resided on a farm near Speedsville. Their farm adjoined that of the late Isaac Clemens, M.P.P. Here he died, leaving a family of three children, namely: Vi George, VI Elize, and VI John. See David Histand's family. After the decease of Mr. Histand the widow was married (October 27th, 1844) to George Clemens* who was born July 16th, 1777, and died August 10th, 1863. She died July 21st, 1885." Eby, Ezra E.
