    • BOEHMER, Mrs. Edward (Gwladys) - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, April 23, 1980, following a brief illness, Gwladys Gabel, of the Richelieu Apartments, Waterloo.

      A member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church; active for many years in the Catholic Women's League, the Canadian Red Cross and a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital; a recipient of the degree of the LTCM of the Toronto Conservatory of Music.
      Daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Albert J. Gabel; wife of the late Edward Stewart Boehmer; mother of Patrick of Kitchener; godmother of Rev. Robert Liddy, CR, of Waterloo and grandmother of Michael, Patricia, Mark, Paul and Kevin; predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Ida Purtle and Mrs. Constance Liddy.

      Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after noon today. A scripture service Thursday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home Friday, April 25, at 10: 30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Kitchener Mount Hope cemetery.
      Donations to St. Mary's and St. Jerome's Building fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
