  Berge, Mrs. George (Alice) At St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, March 13, 1985, following a brief illness, Alice Catherine Kaufman, age 73 years, of RR 4 Bright. Mrs. Berge was a member of the Roseville United Church. Beloved wife of George Berge; dear mother of Raymond of Elmira; Joan of Halifax, N.S., Ronal of RR3, Bright, Marilyn of Vancouver, B.C. and Clifford of Woodstock; sister of Walter Kaufman of Kitchener and Wilfred Kaufman of Waterloo. Six grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her parents. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Thursday, until noon Friday, when removal will be made to Roseville United Church for funeral service an committal at 2:30 p.m., with Pasto Fred Montieth officiating. Interment Roseville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario gratefully acknowledged. Alice Berge Funeral service was held Friday in Roseville for Alice Catherine Kaufman of RR4 Bright. She died March 13, 1985, at St. Mary's hospital. She was 73. She was the wife of George Berge; mother of Raymon Berge of Elmira, Joan Berge of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ronald Berge of RR 3 Bright, Marilyn Berge of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Clifford Berge of Woodstock; sister of Walter Kaufman of Kitchener and Wilfred Kaufman of Waterloo; also survived by six grandchildren; predeceased by her parents. Burial was in Roseville Cemetery. Donations to the heart and stroke foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy.
