  • Notes
    • CAW, WILLIAM was born in the U.S.A., and graduated from Victoria University in 1864. In September of that year he took over his late brother's practice, the Dumfries Reformer of September 16 quoted the remark of the Ayr Observer he is a talented young man, and has recently graduated with the highest honors."

Early in October his father, the Rev. Caw of Paris died following an accident with his buggy. This together with the death of his brother may have decided him to move. He disposed of his practice to J. B. Merritt and at the end of November left for Parkhill in Middlesex county. He settled there permanently, and died on December 17, 1911,
