  SHANTZ, Mr. Oliver B. - Suddenly, on Tuesday, May 2, 1972, at his home in Yatton, Oliver B. Shantz, age 73, husband of Susanna Martin and father of Clayton, Mrs. Noah (Edna) Bowman, Aden, all of Route 1, Elora; Mrs. Wayne (Naomi) Martin of Savant Lake, Ont.; Abner, Vernon, Oliver and Orvie, all of Route 2, Wallenstein; brother of Ivan, Elmira; Mrs. George Brubacher, Route 2, Elmira; Mrs. Jesse Martin, Route 1, Waterloo; Mrs. Paul Martin, Elmira; 42 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive; predeceased by one brother and one sister. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor after 7 p.m. today until Friday morning at 9 a.m. when removal will be made to his home for service at 1 p.m., thence to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service, burial in the adjoining cemetery. _____________ Oliver Shantz Funeral service and burial took place Friday at the Elmira Mennonite meeting house for Oliver B. Shantz. He died suddenly last Tuesday at his home in Yatton. He was 73. He was the husband of the former Susanna Martin and the father of Clayton, Edna Mrs. Noah Bowman and Aden of RRI Elora, Naomi (Mrs. Wayne Martin) of Savant Lake, Ont., and Abner, Vernon, Oliver and Orvie of RR2 Wallenstein: brother of Ivan of Elmira. Mrs. George Brubacher of RR2 Elmira and Mrs. Jesse Martin of RRI Waterloo. There are 42 grand- children and 8 great-grand- children. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
