    • DELION, Mary (nee Rempel) 1920 - 2017 Quietly in her sleep on February 14, 2017 in her 97th year, at Chartwell Long Term Care in Elmira. Mary was the wife of the late Thomas Victor Delion (December 22, 2008). Mary was born in Meichaelsburg Fuerstenland S. Russia, July 16, 1920 with a twin sister who passed away in infancy. She immigrated to Saskatoon in 1924 and later they moved to Waterloo and put down their roots. Mother of Douglas (Anita) and Donna Stoeser (Greg). Four grandchildren Stewart, Lesley, Brian and Brad and eight great-grandchildren Tiana, Brooklyn, Braysyn, Tyley, Chellsie, Maliya, Katelyn, and Tyler. Predeceased by one grandchild Kevin Stoeser in 2011. Mary was one of five sisters Olga (2013), Kathleen, Susie (2016) and Lydia. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents David H. Rempel in 1975 and Susanna Rempel (Lehn) in 1983 Also predeceased by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Mary spent her working career at Seagrams for eight years, K-W Hospital for three years and Dominion Life (Manulife) for 27 years. After her retirement Mary and Tom spent much of their time travelling the world. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Phillip Mathai officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside room. Interment to take place at Memory Gardens Breslau. Condolences for the family and donations to March of Dimes or W.R.S.P. Council or the charity of your choice may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South, Waterloo at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. Special thanks for the care from Dr. Korsheed, Dr. Winfield at Chartwell Elmira, CCAC which she was cared for while living with her son and daughter-in-law (Doug and Anita) for the past four years. Thanks to her "special" care giver Franchetta (Paramed). Thanks to the staff of nurses, doctors, PSWs at Chartwell-Elmira.
