    • Annie Gladstone - Word has been received here of the death at St. Joseph, Missouri, on September 24th, of Annie Gladstone, in her 71st year. Deceased was born in Ayr, being a daughter of the late Walter Gladstone, who formerly conducted a store on the corner now occupied by W. A. Upton. Her mother's maiden name was Jane Easton, a daughter of the late Alexander Easton, one of the original settlers of this community. Deceased left Ayr some 50 years ago, but returned to visit at various times. She had many relatives in this section.
