  Murray Charles Schaefer, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schaefer of Elmira, died early Saturday at K-W Hospital. He was born and lived in Elmira all his life. He was a member of the Elmira Musical Society Boys' Band since its organization two years ago. His mother is the former Delphine Bierwagen. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Douglas, at home, and grandparents, Mrs. John Schaefer, Elmira; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bierwagen, Bridgeport. The services were held Tuesday at 2 pm at Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elmira, with burial in Elmira Cemetery. Rev. C.B. Heckendorn officiated. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Tuesday at 1 pm, when removal was made to the church. Elmira Signet 5 Jun 1953
