  BATTLER, Margaret Helen (nee Schedewitz) - Born April 15, 1927 died February 28, 2004. Margaret completed her final journey in life on February 28, 2004 at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener, Margaret died peacefully and at rest with her family at her side. God gave our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother the time she needed to see and speak with each one of us before He said come home. Margaret leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Clifford Battler. Much loved Mom to Joan, Karen (Rick) Clayfield, Douglas (Sharon), Russell (Debbie), Ronald, Judy (Daniel) Yearwood, Thomas (fiancée Toni), John (Peggy). Special mom to grandson, Donald Wickie and his wife Shirley; much loved great-grandma to their son, Joshua. Cherished grandma to twenty grandchildren with whom she left wonderful memories that they will treasure forever. Special great-grandma to fifteen great-grandchildren. Margaret's grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a great joy to her and brought much happiness into her life. Sister of William (Bill) Schedewitz, who brought a smile to Margaret's face when he whispered in her ear "Hi Toots", a name he called Margaret from their childhood days. Predeceased by her parents, Clarence Schedewitz and Henrietta Iza; two sisters, Betsy Binkle and Joan Micher. Margaret's wish was to be cremated. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family in the chapel at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, on Wednesday March 3, 2004 at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Michael Chow.
