Notes - TUCKER, Roy Edward - Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Roy Tucker in his 72nd year, of Elmira. Beloved husband of the late Erma (Schwartzentruber) Tucker (November 18, 2005.) Dear father of Jodi Snyder of Elmira, Scott of Langley, B.C., Heidi and Mark Hallman of Kitchener, Kerri and Todd Playford of Alma, Dale Snyder of Elmira and Jennifer Picka of Elmira. Cherished grandfather of Georgina Snyder, Caleb, Katie, Becca, Jessiah, Aaron, Joel and Ben Hallman, Kara, Luke, Julia, Andrew and Laura Playford. Also lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law, Patricia Tucker. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Edna (Heinmiller) Tucker; his brother, Ronald and his sister, June Maurer. At Roy's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A Memorial Service for family and friends to celebrate Roy's life will be held at the Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church, First St. W., Elmira on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. George Grierson officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Memory Gardens, Breslau. In his memory, donations to World Vision Canada would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy and may be obtained by calling the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira 519-669-2207. Finally, Dad you're with Mom - We will miss you both. We will miss Dad's total devotion to his children and grandchildren. We appreciate your hard work as a Brick Layer, your dry sense of humour and your love for big band music. Dad, we will miss your "Poplock" hugs.
