  Charles Mayer By Record Staff Writer CARGILL - Charles Mayer of Cargill died suddenly at home Saturday. He was 17. Born in Kitchener, he was a son of Earl Mayer and the former Martha Bender. The family moved here from Kitchener eight years ago. He was a Grade 12 student at the Walkerton district secondary school and was a former member of First Mennonite Church, Kitchener. Surviving besides his parents are maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bender of Tavistock; a brother, John, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Witmer of Kitchener and Mrs. James (Patricia) Edgeworth of London, Ont. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, until noon Tuesday when removal will be made to First Mennonite Church for service at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Robert N. Johnson. Committal service will be held at the church followed by temporary entombment in Woodland cemetery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
