2 Oct 1881 John F. Schwenn died in Hamilton, Ohio of typhoid at age of 37 years. He is mourned by his wife and 6 children. The deceased learned the printer's trade in this office in his youth. He had lived for 17 years in Hamilton and was highly regarded by all who knew him. He was a native of Sinsheim, Grand Duchy of Baden. Peace be to his ashes.
