• Notes

  We regret to announce the death very suddenly, from, it is believed, heart disease, of Mr. Samuel Weir, of North Dumfries, which occurred on Sunday morning last. The deceased gentleman was a native of County Down, Ireland, and came to this country in 1816, settling at once on the farm on which he died. He was a Presbyterian, and was much respected.
