Notes - FISHER, Lovis (nee Stark) - Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Lisaard House on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Lovis was born in Toronto on May 12, 1920 to John and Frances Stark. Devoted mother of Bryan (Brenda), Heather Kroetsch, Tara (Tom) Rohrbacher and grandmother of Chad (Kristeen), Josh, Ashley (Steve), Lindsey, Andrew and Christine. Survived by her sister, Florence (Don) Devine and brother-in-law, Gord Scott and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brother, Don (Rose) and sister, Jean Scott. Lovis was a 50 year resident of Dixon St. in Kitchener and will be sadly missed by her neighbours, Sylvia and Bert Waechter, Louise and Vic Kannapin, the Diebold family and many others. She graduated from St. Mary's Hospital as a Registered Nurse and then went to Uniroyal as an occupational nurse eventually retiring at the age of 70 from Custom Trim in Waterloo. Her home was always welcoming to all who visited and she was much loved and respected by her family and friends. She will never be forgotten. Friends will be welcomed in the Heritage Room of Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home (519-742-4481) 51 Benton St., Kitchener on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. to celebrate Lovis' life. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Lovis' memory to the Lisaard House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
