Died - Another of the pioneers of this district passed away at his home here on Wednesday evening the 25th inst in the person of Mr. Menno Bean. He bad been a sufferer from rheumatism for several years and for the past year had been fined to bed. The late Mr. Bean was born in Wilmot Township 73 years ago where he spent the greater part of his life at farming. About fourteen years ago he retired and came to this town, since which time he has resided here. Ile was married to Mary Reddaway and their union was blessed with five children. One son Russel predeceased him. He is survived by his sorrowing widow and four children, namely: Richard of Brantford, Jacob of West De Pere Wis., William R. of Prince Albert, Sask., and Mrs. Andrew Munay of Innerkip. The funeral took place from his late residence on Jacob St, on Saturday afternoon at two o' clock to the Methodist church for service thence to Stauffer's Cemetery for interment.
