    • She was born to Anthony and Isabella Gehl. She traveled west to Saskatchewan in March 1929. She married Francis on November 17, 1931 and together started life's journey of 58 years.

      Faith and family were of great importance in her life. Her love of nature, gardening, flowers along with her gentle touch of motherly love have been passed onto her eight children, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

      She was predeceased by her husband Francis on June 2, 1990, parents Isabella and Anthony Gehl, sons-in-law Frank Ruddock, Nobby Helinsky, Ned Mitchell, granddaughter Trena Loughery, five sisters and three brothers.

      Survived by her children, Alice Helinsky of Okotoks, Alberta, Marilyn Ruddock of Shaunavon, Donald (Lynn) of Shaunavon, Gerald (Helen) of Shaunavon, Rosella of Shaunavon, Karen Stevenson (Brian) of Shaunavon, Anne Hodgson of Bow Island, Alberta, and Janet Mitchell of Lethbridge, Alberta, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, one sister-in-law Mary Girodat of Shaunavon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

      Pallbearers were Jason Girodat, Aaron Hodgson, Clayton Hodgson, Brett Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and Vince Stevenson.
