  FRANK, Mrs. Charles (Emma) - At her residence, on Monday, January 9, 1978, following a lengthy illness, Emma Bitschy of 29 Charles St., Maryhill, aged 72 years. A member of St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill, and a member of the Maryhill Quilters Club. A daughter of the late Walter Bitschy and Clara Yantz, she was a resident of Maryhill most of her life. Wife of Charles Frank, mother of Bill of Maryhill, Harold and Bob of Kitchener, Betty (Mrs. Willard Brohman) of Breslau, and Dorothy (Dolly) (Mrs. Aurele Provost) of Maryhill; sister of William and John of Kitchener, Ed and Harold of Maryhill, Mrs. Minnie Spitzig, Marie (Mrs. Harold Karges) and Mrs. Mabel Harnock, all of Kitchener. Twenty grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by a granddaughter. Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the parish rosary was said on Wednesday at 8:30 pm. Prayers were said at the funeral home on Thursday, at 10:15 am, followed by funeral mass and committal service at St. Boniface RC church at 11:00 am with Rev. John Lawless officiating.
