- Charles Longstaff
A native of Guelph, Charles R. Longstaff, 47, of RR 1, Blair, died Tuesday at his home.
Born April 11, 1911, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Longstaff, he moved to his present home a year ago.
A self-employed painter, he was a member of the Anglican church.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; two sons, Ralph of Elmira, Paul, at home: three daughters,, Mrs. Lorne (Barbara) Kerr of Freelton, Mrs. Richard (Eleanor) Lorfing, RR 2, Baden, Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Clark of Waterloo; one brother, Frederick of Hespeler; one half-brother, James of Guelph; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Tomlinson and one half-sister, Mrs. Ada Billings, both of Guelph, and three grandchildren. One brother and two sisters predeceased him.
The body is at the Walsh Funeral Home where funeral will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Thomas Smith will officiate Burial will he in Woodland Cemetery.
