- Carl Broman - Carl Broman of Warsaw died at the Wyoming County community Hospital on Sunday, May 10th, following a short illness. He was born in Germany on January 8, 1883, and had lived in this area for forty years, was the founder in 1944 and life member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Warsaw, a life member of the Rochester Elks, Erie Social Club, the Genesee Valley Legion No. 51. He belonged to the fellowship Degree, Pilgrim Degree of Merit and the Warsaw Kiwanis Club. Surviving him are his widow, Matilda Goetz Broman whom he married in Kitchener, Ontario, January 4, 1909. He also leaves five children, Mrs. George Burton, Warsaw, Albert Broman, Perry, John and Francis Broman, Rochester and Walter Broman of Warsaw and nineteen grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers one living in California the other in New Jersey. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th with a prayer at the Weeks Funeral Home at 9: 30 am and a Mass at St. Michael's church of which he was a member at 10: 00 am with the Rev. Michael Sekelsky officiating and the interment in St. Michael's cemetery. The Moose ritual service was held at the Weeks Funeral Home on Monday evening at 9 pm.
