  SNYDER, Wilfred D.-- Suddenly at his residence, 208 Bloomingdale Rd., Kitchener on Thursday, May 7, 1981, Wilfred D. Snyder, aged 78 years. He was born in Bloomingdale and was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Allen Snyder. He farmed near Bridgeport for 40 years and latterly had owned his own insurance agency and sold for Waterloo Farmer's Mutual and Western of Woodstock for 26 years. At one time he was involved with the Junior Farmers' and the Plowmen's Association. He was a member of First United Church, Waterloo. Survived by his wife the former Violet F. Stauffer, one brother, Moses Edgar of Waterloo and a sister, Alice of Kitchener. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Mr. Snyder's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Saturday at 3 p.m. with Rev. R.H. McColl officiating.
