- HOLST, Walter At his home, 19 Maple Court, Waterloo, suddenly following a heart attack, Walter Holst, age 40 years, born in Wilmot Township, a son of Mrs. Annie Holst of Route 2, Petersburg and the late Jacob Holst; a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 17 years and a member of the Waterloo Pentecostal Tabernacle, employed as an ambulance drive and attendant at the K-W Hospital for the past nine years, a member of the Waterloo Coin Club, the Ontario Numismatic Association, the St. John's Ambulance Corps and the International Rescue Association; husband of Susan Schwindt; father of Frederick, Douglas, Debra and Linda, all at home; brother of Irene Holst, Route 2, Petersburg; Viola, Waterloo; Luella (Mrs. Wesley Sauder) of St. Jacobs; Albert, Route 2, Petersburg; Harvey, Waterloo; Delton, Route 2, New Hamburg; George, Route 1, New Hamburg; Clarence, Route 1, St. Agatha and John of New Dundee.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 king St. W., Kitchener, after 4 p.m. on Thursday, until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to the Waterloo Pentecostal Tabernacle for the service at 3 p.m., with Rev. John Shrier and Rev. Trevor Butt officiating. Interment in the Blenheim Mennonite cemetery.
Donations to the building fund of the church or the Coronary Care unit of K-W Hospital may be made as expressions of sympathy.
