      The death occurred yesterday afternoon at the K-W Hospital of Nelda Catherine Preiss, beloved wife of Harvey A. Schmidt of Erbsville, in her 36th year. On September 16, the deceased had the misfortune to step on a nail, which entered her foot. Blood poisoning developed and was followed by lockjaw, causing her death. Born in Clifford, in 1891 the deceased later moved to Erbsville where she has resided ever since During her life in Erbsville the deceased has won for herself a large circle of friends and acquaintances who will mourn her death. Surviving are her sorrow husband husband and adopted son, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt Priess, Erbsville. One brother, Charles Preiss of Waterloo and one sister, Mr. Jack Strome also survive. The funeal will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock horn the late residence to the Erbsvilie Lutheran church and thence to the Erbsville cemetery for interment.
