- W. R. (Bob) Marshall
William R. (Bob) Marshall, Bridgeport, for many years and employee of the Kitchener Shoe Co., died today at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was 72. Born June 10, 1878, at Creemore, Ont., he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall. Mr. Marshall attended St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. He was married on March 23, 1910, at Kitchener to Mary Lichti, who survives. Mr. Marshall also leaves two sons, Ivan Marshall, Bridgeport, and Kenneth Marshall, Fergus; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Ziegler, Bridgeport; Mrs. Effie Anderson, Fergus, and Mrs. Marie Sampey, Bridgeport. A sister, Mrs. William Watson, Toronto, and five grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held on Sunday at 8: 15 p.m., from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, with the service conducted by Rev. Finlay G. Stewart. Internment will take place at Creemore Cemetery at 3 p.m. Monday.
