- Wilfred John Schade (Cop) - Chicago, a native of Bridgeport, died suddenly this morning following a heart attack. He had just returned to Chicago after spending two weeks vacation in Kitchener.
The deceased was 45 years of age, born Dec. 28, 1903, at Bridgeport, son of the former Emma Yaeck and the late Harry H. Schade.
He attended public school and the K-W Collegiate in Kitchener, leaving here 20 years ago for employment with Howard Clothes, Inc., New York. He be came district field. manager at Chicago for the firm.
The late Mr. Schade married Lucille Hauck of Philadelphia, in Kitchener, Aug. 3, 1937.
He was active in work of Jeffrey Ave. Lutheran Church, Chicago, being a member of the church council and building committee of that parish. He was also a member of Grand River Lodge, A.F. and A.M., and Grand Union, I.O.O.F., both of Kitchener.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. H. H. Schade, 28 Mary St., Kitchener, and a sister, Mrs. W. A. (Bunker) Hill of Kitchener.
The body is being brought to the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home here. Details of the funeral will be announced tomorrow.
