      Joseph Abraham, a Syrian, Arrested In Florida on a Theft Charge.

      BERLIN, Ont, Oct. 3. The authorities received word from Jacksonville, Florida, of the apprehension of Jos. Abraham. a Syrian, wanted here for an alleged theft of $1400 from Mrs. J. D. Neville. a highly respected widow and a figure in social circles. It is alleged Abraham secured the money on the strength of Charles Burkets a partner, on the promise of marriage. He then left town and Mrs. Neville immediately laid the information. Chief O'Neill will likely make the trip to Florida.
